Hubba-Hubba celebrates 35 years in business.
Thirty-five years after Julie and her mother, Ellen Freedman, opened Hubba-Hubba in Chicago, Hubba-Hubba is still going strong! In the early days, Hubba-Hubba specialized in Vintage clothing. Julie and Ellen loved searching for gorgeous treasures for their customers who shared their desire to stand out. Eventually, they made the decision to bring in new clothes and for a time the store was a combination of vintage and new. In 1999, the mother/daughter duo made the decision to stop carrying Vintage clothing and focused on building their collection of new merchandise lines that maintained their vision of offering classic, modern and trendy clothing and accessories at affordable prices.
Since the late 80's, when the standout looks were floral dresses, big shoulders and oversized jewelry, Hubba-Hubba's been the place where women come to find their inner fashionista. Hubba-Hubba's mission to inspire women of all ages and sizes to look and feel their best through fashion has stood the test of time.
The business originated in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood and is now thriving in Wilmette! Run by Owner Julie Cohen and Manager Jen Santo, the team is dedicated to offering classic, modern and trendy clothing and accessories at moderate prices with exceptional customer service. Because of this, Hubba-Hubba has become a reliable fashion resource for women of all ages & sizes.
